FloatMusic is a private music player. Your files are yours and nobody else sees them. Below is exactly what is stored and where.

What is collected
- Account identifier and email address passed on by Apple when you sign in. If you choose to hide your address, only the relay address from Apple is stored, never your real one.
- Audio files that you upload yourself.
- Details of those files: title, artist, album, duration, size, date added and whether you marked them as a favourite.
There is no analytics, no advertising, no tracking and no profiling. Nothing records what you listen to or how often.
Why
Only so the app can work: to recognise your account and show you your own library on your phone. The data serves no other purpose.
Where it is stored
In Google's Firebase, in a data centre in Warsaw (region europe-central2), inside the European Union. Files sit in Cloud Storage, their details in the Firestore database, and sign-in is handled by Firebase Authentication.
Who has access
Only you. Server-side security rules allow reading and writing exclusively for the account that uploaded a given file. Data is never sold, shared or passed to anyone else, apart from Google as the infrastructure provider and any disclosure required by law.
How long
For as long as you want. You can delete any track from the app or the web panel, together with its file and its details. You can delete your whole account with everything in it from inside the app: Settings, the card at the top, Delete account. That removes the account, every file and every record, and it cannot be undone. If you prefer, write to the address above and I will do it within 30 days.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict its processing, move it elsewhere and object to processing. You may also lodge a complaint with the Polish data protection authority. An email is enough in any of these cases.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If anything changes, this document and the date at the top will be updated.
